Shana Gourdine is an author, poet, motivational speaker, and self-love advocate who uses her voice to inspire healing and resilience. After surviving domestic violence and facing multiple health challenges, she chose to rise above her circumstances and now empowers others to do the same.

Through her writing, Shana shares relatable, heartfelt experiences that encourage individuals to rebuild confidence, embrace their journey, and rediscover self-love after trauma and hardship. She is the author of The Mask Behind the Mask and Unveiled Pieces of a Broken Mask, along with contributions to several anthologies and spoken word projects.

Recognized for her impact, Shana has received awards including the Purple Ribbon Award of Courage and has been featured across various media platforms. Originally from Cross, South Carolina, she now resides in Troy, New York, where she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, and creating meaningful work that uplifts others.
